2026 Community Calendar and Sort It Right Guide Now Available

News

Port Coquitlam residents can now pick up the City’s annual PoCo Life community calendar, celebrating the events, public spaces and people that make our City a great place to live, work and visit.

To help reduce costs and environmental impact, the City has shifted to in-person distribution this year. Free copies of the 2026 PoCo Life calendar and Sort It Right Guide are available at all civic facilities, including City Hall, recreation centres and the Terry Fox Library, starting today November 17. This approach ensures materials are available to everyone while minimizing waste and mailing costs. Quantities are limited and available while supplies last.

The 2026 PoCo Life calendar features stunning local photography and highlights community events, important City dates, and the waste collection schedule for each zone. It also includes helpful reminders about seasonal programs, community services and ways to stay connected throughout the year.

Residents are encouraged to use the City’s free Sort & Report app at portcoquitlam.ca/sortreport to access their collection schedule, receive reminders, and learn how to properly dispose of household items. The Sort It Right Guide, also available for pickup and online at portcoquitlam.ca/sortitright, provides clear, easy-to-follow instructions for sorting waste and keeping recyclables clean, helping everyone do their part to avoid costly contamination fines and protect the environment.

Both the calendar and guide are printed on recycled paper, reflecting the City’s commitment to sustainability.
