Port Coquitlam has plenty of fun-filled events planned for B.C. Youth Week, a provincial celebration of youth, held annually during the first week of May. The celebrations are intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities.
Port Coquitlam youth can look forward to a week of FREE events at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) and Hyde Creek Recreation Centre (HC).
• May 1-7: Dive in! Free Swimming all Week
• Thu., May 1: Opening Celebrations & Super Smash Brothers Tournament
Experience the opening festivities by visiting a Youth Activity Centre and enjoy a complimentary cookie.

Get out on the water and paddle a dragon boat at Rocky Point in Port Moody with Nothin’ Dragon and Port Coquitlam Recreation staff. Enjoy fish and chips from Pajo’s and then spend an hour discovering what your community looks like from the water!

Youth participants are required to have a free annual membership that provides access to youth activities and events in the community. A PoCo Youth Membership PLUS is also available for a $15 annual fee, granting free access to youth open gyms.
