The City of Port Coquitlam is excited to announce the launch of its brand-new community newsletter, the "PoCo Post". Designed to ensure all residents have direct access to important local news, events and City information, the PoCo Post’s inaugural Summer Edition 2025 will be available for pick-up starting Monday, July 14, 2025.
This vibrant, 8-page publication is designed to be your essential guide to everything happening in Port Coquitlam. The Summer Edition is packed with exciting features, including a message from Mayor Brad West, details on summer camps and recreation programs, and tips for enjoying Port Coquitlams's extensive parks and trails.
The City is proud to introduce the PoCo Post as a new way to connect with residents and share the stories that make the community so special. This Summer Edition highlights the fantastic events and opportunities available in Port Coquitlam, from major summer festivals to beautiful green spaces, encouraging everyone to pick up a copy and discover all the ways to enjoy summer in Port Coquitlam.
The PoCo Post Summer Edition will be widely available for free pick-up starting July 14 at various high-traffic locations throughout the City, including:
- City Hall (2580 Shaughnessy Street)
- Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) (2150 Wilson Avenue)
- Hyde Creek Recreation Centre (HC) (1379 Laurier Avenue)
- Terry Fox Library (2150 Wilson Avenue)
- Other key City areas and local senior homes (look for "PoCo Post")
Additionally, the PoCo Post Summer Edition will be available digitally on the City's website at portcoquitlam.ca/pocopost starting today, ensuring easy access for all residents.
The back page of this special summer issue also offers a sneak peek into "Fall in the City," giving residents a glimpse of upcoming programs and initiatives planned for the autumn season.
