The City has recently partnered with Period Pin, an online tool that helps connect people in Port Coquitlam in need of free menstrual products.

Period Pin is an online app designed to combat period poverty by helping individuals locate free menstrual products in their community. The platform features an easy-to-use map that highlights public spaces, businesses, and facilities offering free menstrual products, ensuring these essential items are accessible to those in need.

The Period Pin map can be viewed on any smartphone by visiting periodpin.ca, and its pins will be regularly updated to reflect new locations. Posters will also be displayed at City facilities to spread the word and ensure the map is accessible to all, including those without access to a smartphone.
