Summer will soon be here—don’t miss your chance to register for our sizzling summer programs! 
Port Coquitlam residents of all ages can move, create, and connect with camps, sports, fitness, arts programming, swimming lessons, and more.  

Registration opens Tuesday, May 13, at 8:00 a.m. for Port Coquitlam residents and Friday, May 16, at 8:00 a.m. for the general public. The summer leisure guide is available online at portcoquitlam.ca/leisureguide, lists the full range of programs.

Register online at portcoquitlam.ca/register for the following programs:

•    Summer Camps (Ages 3 to 17): Join in on the fun, summer camps are back! From biking, arts and musical theater, swimming, and week-long adventure camps, there is something for every child and youth. Details in the summer leisure guide, pages 4-13.
•    Biking Programs: Summer is the perfect time to get into gear and enroll your child in one of our Little Sprockets bike programs or Trail Blazer Bike Camps. Learn more on pages 16 and 17.
•    Youth Activities: Join us for a skateboard competition at Railside Skate Park. Admission is FREE! Learn more about Youth Programs on pages 32-35.
•    Seniors Activities (Adult 60+): Enjoy a variety of drop-in or registered seniors programs throughout the summer. For more information about senior programming, see page 42. 
•    Art in the Gallery – Family Drop-in: Drop by the gallery to enjoy the current art exhibition with your family while making art together. Learn more about Arts & Culture programming on pages 44-47.
•    Terry Fox Library: Join the Summer Reading Club! Learn more on pages 48 and 49 or visit fvrl.ca.
•    Swimming Lessons (All ages): Swim lessons will be available for a variety of swim levels, including Parent and Tot, Preschool, Swimmer, and Advanced Aquatics. For details and schedule, visit portcoquitlam.ca/swimming
•    Public Skating programs and lessons (All ages): Enjoy summer in a cool place, enroll in a private skate camp! Schedule: portcoquitlam.ca/skating.
•    Fitness (All ages): A variety of aerobics classes, yoga, and wellness classes for all fitness abilities. Schedule: portcoquitlam.ca/fitness. 

Financial Assistance, Accessibility, and Inclusion 

The City offers a variety of supports and resources to ensure all residents have the opportunity to get involved in recreation and arts programs. Through the Financial Assistance Program, eligible families can receive a 75 percent discount on activities, including camps. 

Recreation Program Support fosters accessible and inclusive opportunities for children or youth in registered activities. Learn more at portcoquitlam.ca/accessinclusion.
