The Canada Post Strike has ended. Due to backlog, delays are expected into January 2025.
We are committed to ensuring that residents and businesses continue to receive timely and effective communication. Residents and businesses will experience delays receiving the following:
- Metered utility bills (Due December 17, 2024)
- Business licence notices (Due January 15, 2025)
- Community calendars
- Outstanding property tax notices
- Payments and other critical documents
Making Payments
To avoid late fees, interest charges or penalties, residents and businesses are encouraged to use alternative methods to make payments on time:
- Online or telephone banking
- In-person at your financial institution
- In-person at City Hall, 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Letter Dropbox located at the front entrance of City Hall
Payments made by mail that are received by the City after the due date are considered late and subject to penalty.
