We are aware that some local vendors have received fraudulent emails inviting them to participate in City events and requesting registration fees. These emails are not from the City of Port Coquitlam. Please keep the following tips in mind to protect yourself from fraud:
- Check the sender's email address. Official City emails will always come from an address ending in @portcoquitlam.ca.
- Verify information and opportunities directly through the City's website at portcoquitlam.ca.
- Do not click payment links or share financial information if you are unsure about an email's legitimacy.
- If you're unsure whether a message is from the City, contact us directly to confirm.
