Facility Closure Update
- 9:00am: Power is back on at Port Coquitlam Community Centre! The pool will reopen at 10:30am. Other programs will resume at 10am.
- 8:30am: All programs at Port Coquitlam Community Centre (except Preschool and Playmania) are cancelled.
- 6:27 am: Hyde Creek Recreation Centre is back on. Fitness class and weight room will operate as usual. Pool will open at 8am to allow pumps to circulate and bring temp and humidity down.
Hyde Creek Recreation Centre and the Port Coquitlam Community Centre are currently closed until further notice due to a power outage affecting the area.
Power is out in several neighbourhoods, and crews from BC Hydro are working to restore service as quickly as possible.
Please treat all affected intersections as four-way stops and allow extra travel time. Updates will be shared as they become available.
