Glass Recycling Curbside Collection Starts

Glass recycling pick-up starts Wednesday, January 15. For those who receive City waste services, get prepared for your first collection day!

Sort it right:

Please only put accepted items in the bin. Staff will not be collecting any bins that have any contamination. Here's what NOT to put in the grey bin:

  • No dirty containers (Empty and clean before placing in the bin)
  • No lids or inserts (Remove and put in blue cart)
  • No refundable bottles (eg: Wine, spirits, beer)
  • No light bulbs or fixtures
  • No glass dishes, cookware, ceramics, or window glass
  • No broken glass
