Notice
Filming will take place in Port Coquitlam this Wednesday, May 21 for Season 7 of the TV show “Virgin River.” Please be aware of the following parking and traffic impacts over the next two days:
- On Tuesday afternoon (May 20) and Wednesday (May 21): Public lots fronting The Legion at 2370 Kingsway Ave as well as the gravel lot at 2276 Kingsway Ave will be closed. Limited public/customer parking will remain available. The paved lot east of Shaughnessy St at 2280 Kingsway Ave will remain open and available for use throughout filming.
- On Wednesday (May 21): Parking on both sides of the 2300 Blk of McAllister Ave will be impacted. Minor vehicle and pedestrian traffic interruptions will occur while filming is taking place. Maximum 3 minute holds.
- On Wednesday afternoon/evening (May 21): Filming will take place at 2340 McAllister Ave and Home Hardware (3217 Coast Meridian Rd). There will be minor impacts to parking within the commercial complex and east side of Sefton St.
- Fire lanes and emergency access will remain available to all areas.
