Rainfall Warning Issued

Heavy rainfall is expected to start Monday, January 5 and continue through to Tuesday, January 6. Environment Canada has issued a Yellow Warning for Rainfall. City crews continue to take proactive steps to prepare for changing weather conditions and localized flooding risks. Sandbag stations at Cedar Park and Public Works Yard have been replenished.

  • Avoid rivers, creeks and potentially unstable banks
  • Clear leaves and debris from drains and catch basins
  • Drive with caution, check conditions before you head out, and avoid unnecessary travel when conditions are poor
