To ensure the safety of all participants, multiple roads and intersections will be subject to closures between 6:30am and 2:30pm on Sunday, September 14. Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to avoid driving during the event and to remove any parked vehicles from the street by 8am to allow for volunteer setup.
- 1300 block of Laurier Avenue, from Hyde Creek Recreation Centre to Coast Meridian Road.
- Coast Meridian Road (both northbound and southbound lanes) from Laurier Avenue to Kingsway Avenue
- Coast Meridian Connector north of Tim Hortons (access to Tim Hortons via Lougheed Highway).
- Coast Meridian Overpass.
- 2100-1700 block of Kingsway Avenue, from Wilson Avenue to Broadway Avenue.
- 2100 block of Kelly Avenue, from Mary Hill Road to Kingsway Avenue.
- Mary Hill Road from Wilson Avenue to Kelly Avenue.
- Wilson Avenue from Mary Hill Road to Kingsway Avenue.
Parking is prohibited on both sides of Kingsway Avenue, from Wilson Avenue to Broadway Avenue, and on the 1300 block of Laurier Avenue. The Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) parkade will also be closed until noon. Free parking is available in the surrounding areas. View a map of downtown parking options here.
