Traffic and Parking Impacts at Burleigh Avenue and Chine Avenue Starting June 25

To complete work on the Coquitlam River Sanitary Pump Station and Siphon Lining project, there will be traffic impacts at Burleigh Avenue and Chine Avenue. Work begins on June 25 and will take approximately 3 weeks. From 7am-7pm:

  • The intersection of Burleigh and Chine will have a single-lane traffic pattern implemented.

  • The west parking lane of Burleigh will be closed.  Parking restrictions will be in effect.
  • The west sidewalk along Burleigh will be closed and pedestrians will be detoured to the east side.  

The contractor will work with all residents who live along the west side of Burleigh Avenue to ensure they minimize any obstructions to their building access.
