Seniors are a vital part of our community and their contributions make our City a wonderful place to live, work and play.
The City is inviting Port Coquitlam seniors to celebrate B.C. Seniors Week from June 1 – 7 at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) and Leigh Square. Seniors will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of festivities and programs.

Mon. June 2 – 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Toonie Breakfast – 10:00 – 11:15 a.m.: Enjoy 2 pancakes, 2 sausages and a coffee or a tea for $2 (while supplies last). PCCC – Wilson Lounge
- Silver Chord Choir Performance – 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Come and enjoy our Silver Chord Choir as they fill the PCCC lobby with music to kick-off Seniors Week. FREE. No registration required.
Tues. June 3 – 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- New Members Info Session – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.: New to Wilson Seniors? Join other new members, City staff, and Wilson Seniors Advisory Board members to learn more about what seniors’ services and programs are available with a membership. FREE. - Wholly Brain Wellness – 1:30pm – 3:00pm: Do you want to learn fun, creative, holistic ways to cognitive wellness which could slow down or help prevent cognitive decline? Join the Adult Cognitive Wellness Centre for some hands-on examples. FREE. Registration required online at portcoquitlam.ca/register. (activity #114033). PCCC – Mabbett Hall North

- “Try It” Drum Circle – 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.: Curious about our drumming programs? This free session is a great opportunity to drum out a rhythm or two, meet the instructor and see what it’s all about. FREE. Registration required online at portcoquitlam.ca/register. - 80+ One City Pass Super Senior– No admission and membership fees for super seniors 80 years and older to support active aging, increase participation and reduce barriers. (Port Coquitlam Residents)
- Seniors Membership - Those 60 years and better can become a member and receive discounted pricing on pre-registered programs, discounted pricing at the Wilson Kitchen, reduced drop-in Seniors program fees and members-only classes and more.
