The City of Port Coquitlam is offering residents a unique opportunity to purchase previously displayed street banners at the Street Banner Sale, running from May 24 to June 21, or while supplies last. These vibrant banners, which have added colour and community pride throughout the City, can be purchased for $8 each at the Outlet in Leigh Square (#110-2248 McAllister Ave.) on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Street Banner Program is a municipal beautification initiative that showcases Port Coquitlam's community spirit and artistic talent by engaging residents and highlighting their creativity.
Looking ahead, the City continues to seek captivating photographs of local scenes and landscapes from all four seasons for potential inclusion in next year's community calendar, on hydro utility boxes, street banners, or at City facilities. Preferred images should clearly showcase the beauty of Port Coquitlam and be submitted as high-resolution photos.
