Businesses, vendors, restaurants and organizations across Metro Vancouver and beyond are invited to take part in the annual historic event 102nd Rotary May Day parade on Saturday, May, 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
As one of the longest-running community parades in the Lower Mainland, the Rotary May Day Parade is a cherished tradition in downtown Port Coquitlam. In 2024, the parade featured over 90 participants, lasted 1.5 hours, and attracted 22,000 spectators from across the region. This annual event features a full day of entertainment and family-friendly activities, including a diverse lineup of marching bands—pipe, brass, drumline, variety, and novelty—along with vibrant floats, energetic dancers, and fire trucks.
Businesses, non-profits, and community groups are encouraged to register by April 16 to secure their spot in the parade. The following fees apply:
- Commercial float entry: $75
- Incorporated non-profit or municipal: $25
- Unincorporated non-profit: Free. No charge
