Registration Now Open For 2025 Rotary May Day Parade

Businesses, vendors, restaurants and organizations across Metro Vancouver and beyond are invited to take part in the annual historic event 102nd Rotary May Day parade on Saturday, May, 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

As one of the longest-running community parades in the Lower Mainland, the Rotary May Day Parade is a cherished tradition in downtown Port Coquitlam. In 2024, the parade featured over 90 participants, lasted 1.5 hours, and attracted 22,000 spectators from across the region. This annual event features a full day of entertainment and family-friendly activities, including a diverse lineup of marching bands—pipe, brass, drumline, variety, and novelty—along with vibrant floats, energetic dancers, and fire trucks.

Businesses, non-profits, and community groups are encouraged to register by April 16 to secure their spot in the parade. The following fees apply:

  • Commercial float entry: $75
  • Incorporated non-profit or municipal: $25
  • Unincorporated non-profit: Free. No charge

The Port Coquitlam Rotary May Day parade is a vibrant and engaging experience, showcasing artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for attendees of all ages.
