Calling all businesses, vendors, restaurants and organizations to join the fun by participating in this historic centennial event - 101 Port Coquitlam Rotary May Day parade on Sat., May, 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Held in downtown Port Coquitlam, the Rotary May Day parade is one of the longest-running, iconic, community parades in the Lower Mainland. In 2023, the parade included approximately 100 participants, lasting 1.5 hours and was enjoyed by 25,000 spectators from throughout Metro Vancouver. This annual event is a full day of entertainment and family-fun activities, including bands, floats, dancers and fire trucks.
Businesses, not-for-profits organizations and other groups can register until Apr. 14 to join the parade. The following fees apply:
- Commercial float entry - $75
- Incorporated non-profit or municipal - $25
- Unincorporated non-profit - no charge
The Port Coquitlam Rotary May Day parade is a fun-filled creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for all children and families.
