Secure Your Spot At The Winter Artisan Market By Oct. 31

News

Businesses are invited to secure their spot at the annual Winter Artisan Market on Saturday Dec. 2, 2023 at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre gymnasium.

The Winter Artisan Market provides local businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products and services to the hundreds of people who attend the annual Winter in the City - Christmas in the Square event.

Held from noon to 8:00 p.m., the market-style event encourages the community to shop local for their goods and services.

The City is seeking market vendors who sell high-quality handcrafted items, or independently made products.

Vendors will be selected based on a variety of factors. Those selling prepared food products must follow proper Fraser Health guidelines and all vendors are required to have a minimum $2 Million of Commercial General Liability Insurance.

The vendor fee to participate for businesses is as follows:

  • $25 Port Coquitlam non-profit businesses
  • $50 Port Coquitlam businesses

Non-Port Coquitlam businesses

  • $75 Non-Port Coquitlam Non-profit businesses
  • $100 Non- Port Coquitlam businesses

All participating businesses will also be promoted on the City website and advertised online. More details can be found at portcoquitlam.ca/winterinthecity.

As space is limited, early registration is recommended to secure a spot by Oct. 31. Successful applicants will receive an information and acceptance package in early November.

Entrance to the Winter Artisan Market is free to the public and includes interactive displays, free giveaways and prizes. The market will be located at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) gymnasium as part of the Christmas in the Square event on Dec. 2, with live entertainment, displays, free family activities, beverage garden and more. Details will be posted closer to the event at portcoquitlam.ca/winterinthecity.
