Showcase Port Coquitlam's Natural Beauty In 2025 Community Calendar

News

A great opportunity for local shutterbugs to share their striking photos of Port Coquitlam's natural beauty. The City is inviting local photographers to submit images of the area's landscapes, flowers, and wildlife for potential inclusion in the 2025 community calendar.

High-resolution photos can be submitted by September 22 at portcoquitlam.ca/photos. Selected images may also be displayed on hydro utility boxes or featured in City facilities throughout the coming year.

To increase the likelihood of selection, photographers are encouraged to submit images that represent Port Coquitlam across all four seasons, with a preference for photos that clearly depict the local environment.

Entitled Naturally PoCo, the City's 2025 calendar will include the waste collection schedule, City information and space for users to note their personal schedules. All submitted photos will be included in the online gallery at portcoquitlam.ca/photos and considered for use in the calendar, on utility boxes, and in other City publications. Photo credits will be provided to all images used and whenever possible in other City publications.

To be considered, photos must meet the following criteria:

  • Format: JPEG, PNG, or TIFF
  • Orientation: Horizontal for calendar use
  • Size: Minimum 300 dpi at 13" wide by 10" deep, or a file size of at least 2 MB
  • File Label: Include the photo name, location, year taken, and photographer's name (e.g., Scenic Sunset-Pitt River-2021-Bob Smith.jpg)
