Dive into summer fun at Port Coquitlam's free outdoor pools and spray parks! Whether you’re looking to swim or splash, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The City continues to offer free drop-in outdoor swimming. This initiative aims to encourage family recreation, support children's healthy development, ensure all community members have access to a safe and supervised recreation environment, and provide opportunities to learn swimming, a crucial life safety skill.
The following amenities are open or will be opening on the dates indicated below:
Spray parks at Castle and Sun Valley Parks, and spray features at Lions Park and Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC), open 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily
Centennial pool now open
Sun Valley and Routley tot pools will open June 14
Robert Hope pool will open June 26

- Sun Valley - Effective June 14
- Saturdays – Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-7:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays and Fridays – 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Routley - Effective June 14
- 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. daily
- Robert Hope - Effective June 26
- 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. daily

Pool Rentals
One-hour bookings are available at our outdoor pools. Rentals can be made online at portcoquitlam.ca/register under Facility Bookings.
- Sun Valley (rentals available Sat. to Tues. and Thurs from 12:15-1:15 p.m.)
- Robert Hope (rentals available Sat/Sun from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.)
- Routley (rentals available every day from 4:45-5:45 p.m.)
Residents visiting City outdoor pools are reminded:
- Children under 7 years of age must be within arm’s reach at all City pools.
- Caregivers should supervise children at all times.
- Listen to the on-duty Aquatic Staff

Financial Assistance and Program Support Available
The City offers a variety of supports and resources to ensure all residents have the opportunity to get involved in recreation and arts programs. Through the Financial Assistance Program, eligible families can receive a 75 percent discount on activities, including camps.
Families can also apply for an Individual Child Grant through Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart Program.
