Utility Bills Due March 31 To Avoid Penalties

News

Port Coquitlam property owners are reminded that utility bills are due March 31, 2026.

Payment options include online banking, in person at your financial institution, in person at City Hall, 24-hour drop box at City Hall, or by mail.

Utility bills include annual flat water and sewer fees. These fees are based on the essential water and sewer services provided to each property. Property owners who have not received their bill should contact Revenue Services at 604-927-5425 or [email protected].

A 5% penalty will be added to unpaid charges after March 31. A further 5% penalty will be applied after June 1.

Pay Online and Avoid the Line

The City encourages property owners to save time by making your payment through your financial institution’s online banking system. Penalties will apply if payment is received
after the due date or if a payment is rejected by a financial institution.

Prepayment Plan

Property owners can make predictable monthly payments toward their annual utility and property tax bills through the City’s Prepayment Plan. Details are available at
portcoquitlam.ca/prepayment.

Utility Bill Discounts

Seniors and people with disabilities on a limited income may qualify for discounts. Applications must be submitted each year before March 31 to avoid penalties. Apply online at portcoquitlam.ca/utilitydiscount. More information is available at portcoquitlam.ca/utilities.
