Outdoor Pools

The City of Port Coquitlam’s four outdoor pools are open for drop-in public swimming between late June and early September each year. Outdoor pools are closed during inclement weather. Call 604.927.PLAY (7529) to confirm if they are open for public swimming.
Register for aquatic fitness classes or lessons at portcoquitlam.ca/register. Schedule is subject to change based on community needs.

Centennial Outdoor Pool - Closed for the season
Amenities include a 25-metre, heated six-lane pool with a one-metre diving board, warm showers and separate change rooms with facilities that are wheelchair accessible.
Rate: $2 drop-in
*FREE for children age 4 and under.
*FREE for super seniors (age 80+) who are Port Coquitlam residents.

Robert Hope Outdoor Pool - Closed for the season
The Robert Hope Outdoor Pool is nestled in the trees, making it great for picnics and is suited for small children and families. Amenities included a 23 metre x 12 metre heated swimming pool ranging in depth from 2 to 5 feet; Heated showers and separate change room facilities.

Castle Park – Spray Park - CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
The 375 square metre (4,000 square foot) spray zone is located on the north side of Castle Park near the washroom building.
The 11 unique spray features are divided into two areas, with elements for older kids such as the towering VersoSplash and flexible SprayVine, and smaller-scale toys for younger children such as the Tot Water Post and Tot Shower Done.

Lions Park - Spray Park - CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
Lions Park is an oasis just outside downtown Port Coquitlam. Located next to the Coquitlam River, there are plenty of open areas for children to run, frisbee playing, and pleasant strolls. There are public washrooms, a picnic shelter and an expansive playground. It also features a section of the Traboulay Poco Trail. Lions Park is a pleasant riverside walk away from Gates Park.

Sun Valley Wading Pool is suitable for small children and their parents and is located next to a new playground, spray park and grassy areas. Amenities included a heated, fair-weather wading pool that is staffed by aquatic attendants. This pool ranges in depth from 1-2 feet.
