The Port Coquitlam Community Centre hosts ice and dry arena sports on its three brand new arenas. Skate Lessons, drop in public skates and hockey programs offered to support new learners or those looking to just be active and spend time with family and friends.

Learn to Skate Information

Fall 2021 – 8 week lesson sets start Oct 18th.

  • Priority Registration for Port Coquitlam Residents opens: Tuesday Sep 14, 2021 @ 8am
  • General Registration: Friday Sep 17, 2021 @ 8am

Registration for skating lessons can be completed online starting Sep 14th or by calling 604.927.7529.

Learn to Skate Information

  • Progressive instruction in a fun and age appropriate setting
  • Small class sizes support positive learning and staff support
  • 30 and 40 minute group lessons
  • Free skates & helmet with registered lessons
  • Progress card at the end of the lesson set

Leisure Buddy

Leisure Buddy

Some children require additional support for a variety of reasons. Examples include, but are not limited to, Autism, physical or mental limitations, behavioural issues, aggression, language barriers etc. It is important to choose a program appropriate for your child. Leisure Buddies assist children with staying on task, re-direction, encouraging involvement, explaining, assisting and group inclusion. For more info please click here.
