Fall is just around the corner, bringing new opportunities for Port Coquitlam residents of all ages to move, create, and connect with community events, skating, sports, fitness, arts programming, swimming lessons, and more.
Registration opens Tuesday, July 28, at 8:00 a.m. for Port Coquitlam residents and Friday, July 31, at 8:00 a.m. for the general public.

Register online at portcoquitlam.ca/register for the following programs:
Arts and Culture: Try something new this fall! Sing in a choir, make a mug, learn to crochet, explore printmaking, or play with watercolours. Throughout the month of September, sample our new Try It! programs. If you find your new passion, register for a full class. Learn more about Arts & Culture programming for all ages on pages 54 to 63.
Aquatics (All Ages): Interested in becoming a lifeguard? Check out our advanced courses offered this fall on page 26. We also have a new aquatic programs geared towards children aged 3-5 and 6-8 years of age – Aqua All Stars and Aqua Superstars on page 26.
Camps (Ages 3 to 17): Plan for the upcoming school year and enroll in a Pro D Day or Winter Break Camp! There are skating, arts, and even explorer camps available. Details in the fall leisure guide, pages 4-5.
Fitness (All ages): A variety of aerobics classes, yoga, and wellness classes for all fitness abilities. Schedule: portcoquitlam.ca/fitness.
Playschool Outside (Ages 3 to 5): Need an activity for your little one? Children will enjoy the outdoors and learning opportunities as they explore Hyde Creek’s beautiful natural forest and trails. Public Skating Programs and Lessons (All ages): Take private or group lessons to perfect your skating technique. Schedule: portcoquitlam.ca/skating.
Seniors Activities (Adults 60+): Create beautiful flower arrangements, play carpet bowling, learn a new language and more. Our social recreation programs help you connect with friends while learning new skills. Find out more about seniors' programming on pages 50-53.
Youth (Ages 11-18): School is back in session, and Youth Lounges are open! Join us at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre Wilson Lounge and Hyde Creek Youth Centre for a welcoming supervised space for youth to hang out with friends. Find out more about Youth Programing on pages 36-41.

Financial Assistance, Accessibility, and Inclusion
The City offers a variety of support and resources to ensure all residents can get involved in recreation and arts programs. Through the Financial Assistance Program, eligible families can receive a 75 per cent discount on activities, including camps.

Registration Tips
Follow these tips to make registration smoother and increase your chances of getting into your preferred programs:
Manage Your Account: Create or update your ActiveNet account at portcoquitlam.ca/register. Use Active Net filters to narrow down your search and find the programs suitable for you and your family members. Ensure your contact information and profile details are accurate for you and any linked family members. For children, please call (604) 927-PLAY (7529) to update allergy details, support needs, life jacket needs, walking permissions, and emergency contacts.
Preview Programs Early: Browse programs online before registration day to view the most up-to-date offerings. Fall programs will be available to view online starting July 21, 2026.
Build Your Wishlist: “Heart” your favourite programs to create a personalized wishlist. On registration day, simply open your wishlist and register directly. There is no need to search again. (Note: You must sign into your account to use this feature).
