Remembrance Day Street Banners & Lest We Forget Sidewalk Mural

New commemorative street banners are installed along Shaughnessy Street, honouring the service and sacrifice of Canada’s veterans. Earlier this year, the City also installed the Lest We Forget sidewalk mural on McAllister Avenue, offering residents a lasting place to pause and reflect throughout the season. The mural was inspired by an idea brought forward by a local cadet Joseph Domingo, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion, Port Coquitlam Branch #133.
